Educational Disclaimer
Everything on MyFutureCents exists to teach. Nothing on MyFutureCents exists to advise.
This is a simulation, not a financial service
MyFutureCents does not hold, move, invest, or manage real money. Every dollar amount in the teen suite is virtual. No account you see here is a real financial account.
Market data is mock data
The stocks, ETFs, sectors, prices, and returns used in the Investment Simulator and Diversification Challenge are illustrative samples created for teaching. They are not live quotes, not recommendations, and not predictions about any real security.
Projections are hypothetical
Future Me, the Parent Future Planner, Start Now vs. Start Later, the affordability calculator, and the step-up planner all use simplified assumptions such as a constant annual growth rate and steady contributions. Real markets fluctuate, real life interrupts contributions, and real outcomes will differ — often significantly. A projection is a teaching tool, not a promise.
Tax and paycheck figures are simplified
The First Paycheck and My Money Life tools use simplified withholding estimates to show how gross pay becomes net pay. They do not reflect your actual filing status, state, locality, benefits, or W-4 elections, and they are not tax advice.
No advice, no recommendations
Yoshida Social Lab LLC is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, bank, insurance producer, tax preparer, or law firm. Nothing on this platform is investment, tax, legal, or financial advice, and nothing should be treated as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or to open any specific account. Account types described in the parent suite are explained generically for education.
Talk to a professional
Before making a real financial decision, consult a qualified professional who knows your full situation.
