Future Cents is a grant funded project that has allowed the library and community partners to develop teen-oriented workshops and a website for information on a wide range of money issues. Participants are invited to attend any or all of the free workshops to learn how to take control of their money. Attend all sessions and you can enter a drawing for an iPAD!
We will add extra sessions throughout the year for teens and adults that are relevant to good money habits. We strive to educate young people and develop good money behavior in children and parents so that families may grow together in building better habits.

In addition to the Library, community partners also help out. Partners include: N.C. A&T State University, East Market Street Development Corp., Greensboro Youth Council, the YMCA and Greensboro Channel 13.
N.C. A&T, for example, is lending both the financial expertise of its faculty and students in the Economics and Financial departments and the university’s technology in its Stock Trading room.
